Rubric for software or app analysis "Classcraft"

Hello and a warm welcome to all of you in this section named "Rubric for Software or App Analysis." Here you will find an analysis of the language learning software "Classcraft.".

Classcraft is an educational technology platform that makes learning more fun in the classroom. It is intended to make traditional educational settings more engaging and motivating for students by incorporating game elements and mechanics. Aspects that this classroom environment carries out are: gamification, classroom management, customization avatars, and teamwork.

Before I start, it is clear that the webpage "classcraft" is not recognized as a CMS, but it could work as one. In the technical dimension, classcraft does not have problems; it is not constantly upgraded, but it does not have problems for navigation and multimedia; in fact, you can enable an option to share printable work through the "mission" section. In content, On one hand, it lacks language activities and language skills practice; however, if the teacher takes the risk, he or she will enable some activities in the mission section for students to practice skills as extra activities. On the other hand, grammar, punctuation, and organization are pretty well developed, which enhances students' participation and communication. In terms of usability, the webpage does not have any advertising; images and multimedia work perfectly without any freeze (unless your internet connection is not good), and this webpage can be linked to the curriculum easily. In the support section, there is a support section, and at the bottom of the webpage, you can find support for teachers, students, and even parents. If you do not find the solution, you can contact some administration via live chat. Lastly, in section cost, to get into this virtual environment, you must register, but it is totally free; if you want an extra function, you can pay for it.

This environmental class is appropriate for the school stage, more so for primary school. We really recommend this for practicing good behaviors for students because it is common to punish bad behaviors without practicing good ones. In addition, you can add some other characteristics and purposes; you can also add a mission to leave extra activities to practice, and it is not seen as a mandatory thing but as a story adventure.
